We are traveling with younger children. Do you know of local sitter options?

We provide contact information to our guests for baby equipment rentals and available sitter details. (See Oregon Coast, See Sunriver)

Is there an age limit to rent from Blue Pacific?

Guest must at least twenty-five (25) years of age and acknowledges that they may be asked to provide proof of age at the time the Reservation is made. Guest is responsible for all other persons staying or visiting the Property during the Reservation. If Guest is not twenty-five (25) years or older, BPVR reserves the right to terminate the Reservation without a refund.

Can you make an exception to the policies for my reservation?

Your reservation/rental agreement is a binding legal document. Blue Pacific by Portoro is also bound by state and local laws and our contracts with the property owners. As much as we might like to make exceptions to the rules, we cannot for these reasons. We ask and encourage all guests to please be sure to fully read and understand your rental agreement and our policies/expectations.

What do you mean by Quiet Hours?

We ask that you remember that our vacation rental properties are private homes and condominiums, with many full time residents as neighbors. Please respect the ambience of your surroundings by not having loud noise and music, excessive running, etc. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 9:00 AM. These hours are strictly enforced.

Do you allow any animals? / Do you allow pets?

Blue Pacific by Portoro has a strict no animal policy in ALL of our properties. Many of the complex have strict HOA set no animal policies our rentals must abide by. There are no animals allowed in the property or on the premises at any time. Animals in non-animal homes are strictly forbidden and guests will be asked to leave without refund and fees will apply.

Need a pet sitter? You can find "local pet-sitters" on Rover.com in the local Oregon Coast area with almost many sitters to choose from.

We have several small children that can sleep in sleeping bags, is that ok?

We have strict maximum occupancy limits in all of our properties in effect 24 hours a day. Any children over 24 months at the time of the stay do count towards occupancy, regardless of where they will sleep in the home.

For Coast rentals:

Oregon Coast properties may be reserved 1 year in advance to your arrival date.

For Sunriver rentals:

All bookings are set up over the phone with one of our reservation specialists. Please call our office at 503-362-2965 to complete your reservation. Once you have made your reservation, a rental contract will be emailed for you to complete your e-signature within 3 days of receipt.

Sunriver homes may be reserved 1 year in advance to your arrival date, however, the opening day for the Summer Peak season is June 1 for the following year's season (June - September/Labor Day).

What do you mean by "BOOK DIRECT"?

We welcome all of our guests to "book direct" on our website or with one of our reservation specialists rather than choosing to opt for a 3rd party channel website. We are glad to meet new guests through these sites, however we want to ensure for their future stays, our guests receive the best rates and reservation experience.

The services fees alone through these sites will on average cost you an additional 11-14% more on your reservation with no difference to the property you're booking!

Choosing to rent from a long-standing company with a hands-on management program offers many benefits like local support and assistance, the best rates, no surprise fees, 20 years of experience providing area information for the best vacation experience, 24/7 emergency guest assistance, secure bookings, and personal service "beyond the website".

What is a "dead night"?

If your reservation dates leaves open nights between stays that we cannot rent to another guest (due to minimum night season requirements), we will offer to adjust your dates or move you to an alternate property, if available. A representative will review the reservation and contact you to address any scheduling issues, prior to confirming the reservation. In certain seasons, dead nights will not be accommodated (i.e., peak and holiday seasons).

Can I arrive/depart on a Saturday?

Saturday arrivals or departures may be subject to scheduling approval/review in our Coast Properties (peak and off-peak season), and during the off-peak/ski Season in Sunriver. A representative will review the reservation and contact you to address any scheduling issues, prior to confirming the reservation. All reservations are pending and subject to review of our staff prior to finalizing.

Can we request an early arrival or late departure?

During holidays and our peak season we are unable to offer early arrivals or late departures, no exceptions. In the off-season, if there are not guests arriving/departing the same day we can often allow early arrivals or late departures. If you are interested in an early arrival / late departure, during off-season, please contact the office for policies and rates.

PROPERTY INFORMATION

What do you mean by maximum occupancy?

Maximum occupancy for any property is stated on Blue Pacific by Portoro's website and is clearly stated in the confirmation email sent to Guest after booking, prior to their stay. The maximum occupancy is in effect 24 hours a day and includes guests visiting during the day (i.e., visiting, meals, coffee, etc.), and anyone over 24 months in age. If it is found that the maximum occupancy has been exceeded at any time, Guest(s) will be asked to leave without a refund, per the rental agreement.

Is Smoking allowed in the properties?

All of our properties are no-smoking, period. There are a few areas in our coast locations where guests can smoke in the parking lot area but never on the ocean side of the buildings. If you have specific questions or concerns about smoking, please speak with one of our reservation specialists in the office.

What is provided in the property?

Each of our properties are individually furnished and equipped by the property owner. Please check the property website listing for a detailed list of amenities for each property. If you have specific questions regarding equipment or appliances in a property please call the office: 503-362-2965

Are linens and towels provided in your properties?

Linens and bath towels are provided for all properties. This includes sheets for each bed and beds are made prior to arrival, as well as bath towels. Large Pool/Beach towels are not always guaranteed, and you should plan on bringing your own.

Does the property have a BBQ?

Many Blue Pacific by Portoro properties provide an electric or gas BBQ for our guests to use during their vacation. Please see our website listing for each property to see what is provided. Guests are responsible for cleaning and removing the remnants from, around, and on the grill after usage.

Please Note: Guests cannot bring or use their own personal BBQ/grill in Blue Pacific properties due to HOA restrictions and for guest safety.

Do all of your properties have high-speed Internet access?

All properties managed by Blue Pacific by Portoro have wireless internet access provided by the property owner as a courtesy for Guest, and connection information is provided in each property. However, this service can sometimes be erratic depending on the location. Blue Pacific by Portoro makes every effort to ensure this service is working properly, but is not responsible for problems with internet service or Guest's computer, and Blue Pacific by Portoro is not able provide any technical support for internet service problems.

CHECKING IN (Arrival)

What time is arrival/check-in and when do I receive my check-in information?

All guests will receive their check-in information 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Your check-in information will specify the check-in and check-out days that apply to your reservation. You can access the unit/home at the Coast is 5:00pm and in Sunriver is 6:00pm or later on day of check-in.

Your door code is included in your check-in details. -- Don't worry! We send the text 2 weeks prior to your stay, a reminder 3 days prior, AND a welcome text just in case! You can also contact our office to resend your text/link should you accidentally lose/delete the text, call/text our office: 503-362-2965

Where do I pick up my keys?

You will have no keys to deal with while staying with us! All check-in emails (sent two weeks prior to arrival) will contain an access code specific to your reservation. You will want to be sure you print out this email and the link within it and take it all with you for reference. That access code will allow you entry from your day and time of arrival, until your morning of departure.

What if I can't check-in until after your office closes?

No problem! For your convenience, you will not need to physically check in or out with anyone. Your access code allows you to arrive any time after check-in on your arrival date.

OREGON COAST QUESTIONS

Can we have a campfire on the beach?

Small, controlled fires, 2' by 2' are allowed on the beach unless stated otherwise by county restrictions. Please be mindful and keep fires away from beach grass and driftwood. Extinguish your fire completely with water when you are done; buried fires can remain hot for several hours.

How do we find the glass floats for Finders Keepers?

Anywhere on Lincoln City's seven miles of beach, from Road's End to Cutler City. Floats are hidden above the high tide line and below the beach embankment, during daylight hours only and every day, rain or shine. There are approximately 60 floats hidden per week, and on certain weekends and holidays.

What are sneaker waves?

Sneaker waves are large, unexpected waves that often occur during outgoing tides. Please be mindful and practice beach safety while exploring our shorelines. Always keep your eyes on the ocean and keep small children close by.

Where can we see whales on the Oregon Coast?

Our beautiful oceanfront condos at The Village at North Pointe in Depoe Bay give you a front row seat right from your condo! You can also visit the Whale Watch Center in Depoe Bay and reserve a whale-watching tour to get right up close.

SUNRIVER QUESTIONS

Can we bring our canoes or kayaks?

Yes! Our homes offer SHARC passes which provide guests access to the Sunriver marina boat launch.

What seasons are the bikes available for guest use?

All of our Sunriver properties offer bikes for guest use during the Spring, Summer, and Fall Seasons. The bikes are locked during the Winter due to liability issues and concern for the safety of our guests. The winters are unpredictable in Sunriver when we cannot foresee snow and guests cannot always see icy paths. (Of note, our seasonal bike availability mirrors the rental season at The Village for bike rentals, which are also not available in winter.)

What are the current hours of the SHARC? Do we get unlimited access?

The SHARC hours are seasonal. The outdoor pool is open during the summer only and the indoor pool is open year-round. The tubing hill is closed during the summer, but the disc golf course is OPEN.

Our homes offer SHARC passes that provided unlimited day access (one pass per person per day), you will receive a wrist band at the SHARC when you display your pass. As long as you leave your wrist band on, you may come and go throughout the day. (Remember to retrieve your home's pass when you leave.)

How far is Sunriver, Oregon from Mt. Bachelor?
